Our mission
Brindlecote Food Bank works with farms, grocers, and neighbors to make sure no one in Tarnwick County goes without a meal. We collect and buy food, store it at our Millrace Road warehouse, and deliver it to 41 pantries and meal sites.
We began in 1994 as a church basement shelf and a borrowed van. Today we run a warehouse with refrigerated storage, a small truck fleet, and a Saturday volunteer crew that sorts thousands of pounds of produce a week.
- Neighbors firstFood is offered with dignity and without paperwork hurdles.
- Fresh where we canWe favor produce, dairy, and protein alongside shelf-stable staples.
- Plain accountingWe publish how we spend what we receive.
